Engines We Work On Perkins - 4000 Series, 6 & 8 Cylinder Gas engines

Perkins - 4000 Series, 6 & 8 Cylinder Gas engines

The 4006/4008 series engines are turbocharged, air to water charge cooled, 6 & 8 cylinder inline gas engines, designed for operation on a wide range of methane based gases. Premium features and design provide economic and durable operation as well as exceptional mechanical efficiency and power to weight ratio, whilst while meeting the market’s increasingly stringent emission requirements. The overall performance and reliability characteristics make this the prime choice for today’s power generation industry.

GSE Workshops have recently completed several major overhauls of both 6 7 8 cylinder engines for industrial customers. Complete power units were delivered including engine skid and generator. Overhaul specification include replacing all cylinder units with service exchange units, rebuilt built completely with OEM spares.

Original crankshafts have been repaired and fitted with oversize bearings, along with in-depth entablature block repairs and specialist camshaft repairs.

We're gonna take a little break but don't nobody go no where.
